I originally wrote the manuscript hoping that this would be a relatively inexpensive paper-back primer. I appealed to the publisher that this is a simple primer to bridge the gap to more comprehensive digital remote sensing texts and it should be inexpensive and in paper back. I suggested a price of $20. CRC Press offers it as a hardback at $60. So my appeal fell on deaf ears!
